Honours Project: Lived Experience of Indigenous Physiotherapists

Indigenous Research

Are you an Indigenous Physiotherapist?

We want to hear from you!

Our study is aiming to capture the lived experience of First Nations Physiotherapists and highlight the enablers and barriers that First Nations Physiotherapists encounter on their pathway into and their experience whilst in the Physiotherapy profession.

We are looking for First Nations Physiotherapists willing to partake in a 45 minute Yarning session.

The study has received ethical permission (#H16619) from Western Sydney University HREC and will abide by the NHMRC Code of Conduct and AIATSIS Guidelines of Research with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

We invite participants to be active collaborators with the option of identified or de-identified data collection and an additional opportunity to be listed as co-author to the findings.

Information Packs include Information sheets and Consent forms. Further project descriptions outlining the particulars of the project can be obtained upon request.

Look forward to hearing from you.
